A place to store, share, and explore my Tabletop miniatures (and TTRPGs) games and world ideas, especially the mechanics that push gameplay to explore and challenge the social and political values I care about.
I really enjoy the tangible aspects of games—the actions like rolling dice, drawing cards, measuring, and moving. I want to explore how to incorporate these physical activities more into gameplay.
For example, in Riotous River Folk (1780s keelmen), any boat moving on the tabletop ‘river’ rolls dice; the movement is determined by the rolled number (in inches) toward that chosen die.
